Setting up FAQs
- 01Every project is different, but as a general guide: a standard 5–8 page website takes between 3–5 weeks from design sign-off to launch. E-commerce builds or sites with complex integrations can take 6–8 weeks. The timeline moves fastest when content — copy, images, and brand assets — is ready before we begin. We'll give you a clear project timeline at the start of every engagement so there are no surprises.
- 02You'll need to provide the core information about your business — services, pricing, contact details, and any imagery you have. For clients who need copywriting support, we offer that as an add-on service. If you have strong copy already, we'll work with it. If you're not sure where to start, we'll guide you through a content brief before the project kicks off.
- 03Yes — and that's by design. Every site we build is handed over with a CMS setup that lets you edit text, swap images, add blog posts, and manage content without touching any code. We also do a walkthrough with you before handover so you know exactly how everything works. You shouldn't need to call us every time you want to change a word.
- 04Yes. We can assist with domain registration and hosting setup as part of the project. If you already have a domain or existing hosting, we'll work with what you have. We'll always be upfront about any third-party costs (hosting, domain renewals, platform subscriptions) so you know what the ongoing cost of running your site looks like after launch.
- 05Redesigns are a significant part of what we do. Whether your current site is outdated, not mobile-friendly, or simply no longer reflects where your business is, we can assess what's there and rebuild it properly. In most cases a full redesign delivers better results than trying to patch an old site — we'll be honest with you about which approach makes sense for your situation.
- 06Yes. We build e-commerce sites on Wix Studio and Shopify, depending on the size and nature of your product catalogue. This includes product pages, variant management, cart and checkout setup, and payment gateway integration (PayFast, PayGate, and others). If you're selling online, we'll make sure the buying experience is as smooth as possible.
- 07Every project includes a post-launch support window for fixes and minor amends. Beyond that, we offer ongoing support packages for clients who want regular updates, content changes, or technical maintenance handled for them. You won't be left with a live site and no one to call.
- 08Absolutely. Graphic design and branding is a standalone service at Vyzion — you don't need a website project to work with us on your visual identity. Whether it's a logo, a full brand identity package, a company profile, or a set of social media templates, we handle it independently. See our Graphic Design & Branding page for the full package breakdown.
- 09It depends on the scope — number of pages, design complexity, integrations, and whether e-commerce is involved. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all pricing, because a 4-page brochure site and a 40-product online store are very different projects. What we can tell you is that every quote is transparent, itemised, and based on what your business actually needs — not a bloated package with features you'll never use. Get in touch and we'll turn around a quote quickly.
- 10Yes. While we're based in Johannesburg, we work with clients across South Africa and abroad. The majority of our process — briefing, design reviews, feedback, and handover — runs remotely without any loss of quality. If you're in Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, New Jersey, or anywhere else in the country or world, we can deliver the same standard of work. Get in touch and we'll take it from there.
